Nestled in the northeast section of Gulf to Bay Blvd is a sweet little mobile home community called 
Glen Ellen. It is an age qualified community and the vast majority of residents are over 55. Here, the residents own their homes and rent their land from Equity Lifestyles. You can’t imagine such a small park having all the amenities that are offered here. 

​One of the first things you notice is the heated swimming pool and clubhouse, complete with a full kitchen.  They even have a laundry facility. Every month, there are at least twenty activities one could participate in. They have shuffleboard, horseshoes, bingo, cards, cook-outs, pool parties, dinners, food pantries, and a scheduled monthly trip to a local restaurant. We also have activities with the neighboring park, Parkwood. 

The residents are willing to help those who are unable to do maintenance to their home, for a reasonable price. This park has both single wide and double wide units. Your pets are welcome here. Throughout the day, you will see walkers, bike riders, scooters, and golf cart riders out and about, engaging with the other residents. 

All homeowners have to pass a background check and credit check to live here. There is a maintenance man full time there and an office assistant part-time in the office. They have a Homeowner’s Association and don’t charge monthly fees. The HOA is funded by donations and ticket sales to events.​

Lot rent is reasonable and includes water, trash, and lawn maintenance. There are only 106 lots in this park. Currently, there are 6 units for sale by the owner, 2 new double wide units for sale by ELS, and 2 more new units to be delivered in April. 

The district 2 president of the FMO (Federation of Manufactured Home Owners) lives here and he is willing to help with any of your concerns. If he can’t help you, the HOA has a staff of 7 that will do all they can to connect you to the right person to answer your questions and act as an intermediary between you and the property owners.

Close by is Clearwater Mall, Howard Seltzers Steak House, Hooters, Costco and Sam’s Club, McDonald's, convenience stores, banks, and almost anything you might need. There are multiple parks and beach areas within walking distance. Publix and Walmart are within 3 miles. 
Glen Ellen is a melting pot of  people from various areas and nationalities and we all get along. We all like to socialize and meet our neighbors.
